A series of speakers from across Canada will share their visions for 2080.

1-4pm: Afternoon concurrent sessions
Track 1: Future of Canada Project Symposium
Explore the impact of the Future of Canada Project’s 14 supported research initiatives, spanning healthcare, Indigenous education, democratic resilience, senior well-being, and systemic racism.
Track 2: Field Trips to the Future
Delegates will select one option from a variety of future-focused field trips in and around Hamilton.
4-6pm: Party like it’s 2079
This reception will bring all delegates together after a day of learning to share and discuss what they heard.
Day 3- Friday, November 3

9:30-12:30: Morning concurrent sessions
Track 1: Ideas Forum
Using Open Space, delegates will have a chance to lead or participate in emergent conversations that align with their work.
Track 2: Building Stories with Narratives of 2080
Building on the previous day’s exploration of hopeful futures of 2080, delegates will have an opportunity to co-create new narratives of 2080.

1:30-3pm: Afternoon concurrent sessions
Track 1: Action Planning
Delegates will share what they learned during the morning sessions and discuss how they might translate their experience into action.
Track 2: Artifacts from the Future
Delegates will create tangible objects that might exist in the visions of 2080 that they have imagined and discussed throughout the Forum.
Track 3: Open discussion and Reflection
Delegates will connect with each other to reflect on what they have learned throughout the Forum.
